How To Use This Guide
This guide is intended as a resource of GSO online assets as well as providing support and guidance in their use.
Use the menu on the left to navigate between the different types (and in the case of Ads and Banners - sizes) of asset. Each page contains details about using a specific set, along with links to zip files that contain the assets and links to visual examples.
In the case of the promotional inventory (the banner ads and buttons), this guide and the files should be sent to the people who are familiar with running your website. This aspect of the guidelines are aimed at webmasters and developers who are familiar with html and issues surrounding the use of flash. Samples of HTML code are provided for each execution which can be cut and pasted, but may need to be altered depending on the site setup.
The rest of the assets will require some working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Microsoft Outlook.
